New York had lost three straight and nine of 10 before beating the shorthanded Bulls 104-89 at home Thursday. Toronto won its second straight by whipping the Nets 132-113 at home Friday night in a division matchup. The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road as they battle the Dallas Mavericks for the second time this week Sunday afternoon. Minnesota won their third straight with a 96-86 home win over the Thunder Friday night. Dallas hung on for a 113-108 road win over the Suns in a game played in Mexico City Thursday.
