The 2017 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Final Four takes place from Glendale, Ariz., featuring a Cinderella (South Carolina), a number one seed making their first-ever trip (Gonzaga), a number one seed attempting to win their sixth title (North Carolina) and one program making their first appearance since 1939 (Oregon). South Carolina, a No. 7 seed, had the toughest road in defeating: 2) Duke, 3)Baylor, 4)Florida, and 10)Marquette. They face a Gonzaga team who crushed No. 11 Xavier, 83-59 last Saturday to reach Glendale. North Carolina edged No. 2 Kentucky in one of the best games of the tournament, 75-73. UNC also had a close call against No. 8 Arkansas, winning 72-65 to advance to the Sweet 16. They had no problem with No. 4 Butler on March 24, winning 92-80. Oregon dominated No. 1 Kansas, 74-60 last Saturday in the most impressive win of the tournament. They had much tougher games against No. 7 Michigan (69-68) on March 23 and No. 11 Rhode Island (75-72) on March 19.
