Rhode Island had won four straight and looked like they were pushing for a NCAA bid or at least pushing for the bubble. Instead, they've lost two straight home games to Dayton (75-74) and lowly Fordham (53-43) on Wednesday in a shocking loss. The Rams are now 8-5 in the Atlantic Ten, tied with George Mason and St. Bonaventure for fourth place with a 61 RPI. They face the Patriots, who have turned things around this season, though the Patriots (110 RPI) are probably going to need to win the A-10 Tournament to make the NCAA's.
