It’s a quarterfinal matchup in the NIT between a couple of teams few would have expected to advance meeting in the Lone Star State. The eighth-seeded CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners are on the road again as they face the sixth-seeded UT-Arlington Mavericks Wednesday night. CSU Bakersfield pulled another road upset as they defeated fourth-seeded Colorado State 81-63 on the road Monday. UT-Arlington advanced as they downed seventh-seeded Akron 85-69 at home Monday in the second round. The teams have met twice previously with UT-Arlington taking both matchups.
