Well guys, we survived the two day break of the LCK. I'm not a big fan of their scheduling, but this is not the place for politics. Ahead of us, we have what I figure to be a great card to kick off Week 2 with two fairly even-matched serieses. The opening series of the day will see Team Dynamics take on the rebranded SeolHaeOne Prince. This will be followed by a pair of winless teams seeking their first win as kt Rolster will do battle with Hanwha Life. Let's not delay things any further as I'm anxious to hop right in.
Team Dynamics (-145) vs. SeolHaeOne (APK) Prince (+105)
It appears as though oddsmakers have finally come around to the thought that Team Dynamics is a legitimate contender in the LCK as they are listed as the slight favorites against SeolHaeOne Prince. Both of these teams enter with a 1-1 record in their two serieses this split, but Team Dynamics has a 3-2 record in their games while SeolHaeOne Prince has a 2-3 record. On paper, these two teams are fairly identical and it may be tough to establish a lean either way. However, Team Dynamics was outstanding in their LCK debut against kt Rolster, and their inexperience can ultimately be to blame in their 1-2 loss to Afreeca Freecs. On the other hand, SeolHaeOne Prince barely snuck past Hanwha Life (who is horrid) to win 2-1 in their only victory, and they did not look good at all when they lost 0-2 to Damwon Gaming. I believe that the oddsmakers got this one right in terms of a winner, but I feel as though they are either giving SeolHaeOne Prince too much credit or they are not giving Team Dynamics enough credit. If you're looking to play this one safely, then lay the jucie with Team Dynamics as they are the much better team. I'm looking for some value however, so I am playing their spread. I have a hard time picturing SeolHaeOne Prince even taking a game in this series, and I like the price tag behind it.

kt Rolster (-225) vs. Hanwha Life (+160)
The last series of the day will be between a pair of winless teams who are trying to avoid the panic button and an 0-3 start to the split. Comparing the paths of these two teams thus far is interested as neither of them have looked very good, but then again a lot of that has come from the draft phase which can be worked out with good coaching. Hanwha Life has a pair of 1-2 losses to T1 (which they weren't going to win) and SeolHaeOne Prince (which was a much more winable match for them). Meanwhile, kt Rolster faced Team Dynamics who had something to prove as they were making their LCK debut followed by another tough opponent in Gen.G, a series that they dropped 1-2. I have mentioned before that kt Rolster was a playoff team during the Spring Split and I expect them to find their groove again during the Summer Split. This series against the horrid Hanwha Life will be just what the doctor ordered as I expect kt Rolster to touch up their game slightly in this series with a fairly easy 2-0 win.
