LCK Picks 7/3

As Week 3 in the Summer Season of the LCK rolls on, so do the money-making opportunities. This slate won't be nearly as enticing as others have been in the past as this could easily be back-to-back 2-0 series, but I see value nonetheless. The opening series of the slate will see kt Rolster take on SeolHaeOne Prince. This will be followed by a battle of veterans between T1 and Gen.G. Without further delay, let's dive in!

kt Rolster (-205) vs. SeolHaeOne Prince (+150)

The opening series of the day will be between a pair of 1-3 teams looking for better results as kt Rolster will battle with SeolHaeOne Prince (formerly known as APK Prince pre-split for those wondering). It's been a long two weeks thus far for these two teams as both only have one win over the same team, and that was over the horrid Hanwha Life Esports. I will say that I do like the roster composition of both teams, and I feel like they both have players that could be long-time stars in the future. It's really tough to separate these teams in terms of talent in each lane, and I have a great feeling that this one will be a tough battle. I'm looking to the over in this one as there's too much talent on either side plus a win to win given poor results. This will result in the series needing a third game to decide a winner.

Pick: Over 2.5 Games (+100)

T1 (-160) vs. Gen.G (+115)

The second series of the day is almost the polar opposite of the first. This one will feature a pair of 3-1 teams in T1 and Gen.G, and they both have a 7-4 record in their games as well. T1 hasn't looked nearly as strong in the summer as they struggled with Hanwha Life Esports in Week 1 and they did it again Wednesday against Damwon Gaming. Meanwhile, Gen.G has been quietly good with their only loss thus far coming in a 1-2 series to the only undefeated team left in the LCK in DragonX. There's no doubt that T1 is a good team, but I believe they have overrated this split. On the other hand, Gen.G hasn't been making a ton of noise but they have been very good. The over is certainly worth a good look as Gen.G has had trouble in the past sweeping teams, but I smell an upset brewing. T1 has been a thorn in the side of Gen.G in the past, but that just tells me that they are overdue for one in this series. I believe they are in slightly better form, so I'm playing the underdog in this match.

Pick: Gen.G ML (+115)
