Gridiron Great Final Four (Championship Round)

And then there were four teams vying for the Super Bowl. Some would argue this coming Sunday is better than the Super Bowl itself as AFC and NFC hold their respective championship games in San Francisco and Baltimore. Let the games begin.

Gridiron Great Final Four (Championship Round)

#4. Detroit Lions 14-5 (+250/+750) - The Lions are in the NFC Title game for the first time since 1992. This team is one step away from making their first trip to the Super Bowl. Standing in their way is arguably the best team in the NFL. If Samuel is unable to go, however, the Lions’ odds improve. One thing is for sure, the Lions will not leave anything on the table on Sunday.

#3. Kansas City Chiefs 14-5 (+150/+380) - The Chiefs still have the Bills’ number after pulling off a 23-20 win over the Bills in Buffalo. The Chiefs' offense came alive against a banged-up Bills defense. It might be a tall order this week against a healthy Ravens team.

#2. Baltimore Ravens 14-4 (-180/+190) - Something to keep an eye on for Sunday: Chiefs LB Willie Gay Jr. is likely out for this game. That could be a problem with the Ravens likely having the services of TE Marc Andrews coupled with Isaiah Likely. For the season, Jackson’s passer rating when throwing to both those targets is 1 and 2 in the NFL.

#1. SF 49ers 12-5 (-310/+145) - The 49ers are the biggest favorite of the weekend and the biggest favorite to win the Super Bowl. Still, something seemed off in their win over the Packers. The Lions won’t be intimidated on Sunday so the Niners better have their A game.

Championship Round Odds *subject to change by game time.

AFC Title Game: 3:00 PM in Baltimore

Kansas City at Baltimore (-3.5)

One could make the argument that the Chiefs could be the favorite in this game on experience alone. Baltimore is healthier, however, and can do the one thing that has bitten the KC defense all season: run the football.

NFL Title Game: 6:45 PM in San Francisco

Detroit at San Francisco (-7)

The pressure is on the 49ers in this game for sure. They have been expected to get to the Super Bowl all season and they are built to win this. Still, they didn’t look particularly sharp last weekend and Jared Goff is playing with house money at this point.

*Odds in parenthesis are to win the conference and then the Super Bowl. All odds courtesy of Draftkings.com
