The lower bracket final of the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Oceania is set, and there's a trip to the Grand Final on the line in this battle between AVANT and Order. This will be the final match scheduled as a best-of-three-map battle. The winner of this contest will move into the Grand Finals to take on Renegades for the championship, a match in which Renegades will enter with a one map advantage. The loser won't go home completely empty-handed however, as both of these squads have already locked themselves into a paying position.

Order Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 68th

Arguably the best team from the Oceania region, Order has to be itching for revenge against AVANT. Order dropped two maps in a row to AVANT in a 2-0 loss to drop into the lower bracket before blanking Chiefs Esport Club 2-0 to move on. A more unique characteristic of Order is their diverse map pool in which they excel on. The team has been outstanding on the map Mirage over the past three months with a 9-1 record. Order has win rates of over 50 on Vertigo, Nuke, Train and Inferno also.

Rickeh, USTILO and aliStair make up an absolutely solid team core. The Australian trio has averaged an impressive 2.2 kills per round while only dying 1.82 times a round during this same period. Valiance and J1rah are no pushovers either, and they both have matches where they step up and carry Order. The only thing Order has to do to avoid an upset is stick to their normal gameplan and not get too ahead of themselves. Their roster is good enough to beat any team in the world on any given day as long as they play their style of game.

AVANT Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 81st

If AVANT has shown one thing during the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Oceania, it's grit and determination. AVANT opened with an outstanding 2-0 beating of Order before coming up short to Renegades 2-1. Now they have a chance to move on and seek revenge against Renegades. AVANT's diverse map pool has been a big reason behind their success. Over the last three months, they haven't a single match on Overpass and are 9-1 on Train also. In fact, during this period they have win rates over 50% on each map used for competition.

The statistical team leader over the past three months has been sterling, and his play has been outstanding. During this time, he's averaged an excellenet 0.82 kills per round while only being killed 0.56 times a round. BL1TZ and HaZR have been no slouches either as this duo has averaged 1.44 kills a round while only dying 1.29 times per round. No player on AVANT has a negative kill to death ratio over the last three months, and they continue to make a name for themselves in the Oceania region of CS:GO.

Pick: Over 2.5 Maps (-110 @ Bovada)(1 unit)

I personally want no part in picking a straight up winner for this contest, and I fully expect this one to go the distance. AVANT beat Order 2-0 in the opening round of the tournament, but I don't see that same result repeating itself. Order is an extremely good team with a solid core of Richeh, USTILO and aliStair. In fact aliStair is without a doubt one of the best AWPers in the Oceania region. However, AVANT is no joke either. Between sterling, BL1TZ and HaZR, AVANT has plenty of experience and firepower also. I fully expect this match to take three maps to settle a winner, so I'm playing the over in this contest for a unit.
