The teams are fighting for a share of the prize pool as well as Regional Major ranking points which will be crucial to determine the team’s chances of receiving an invite for the upcoming ESL one Rio Major in November.

Valve andESL postponed the ESL one Rio Major in to November after the COVID-19 coronavirus forced TOs to postpone event and move events online. The ESL One Rio Major will take place in November with an increased prize pool and a tougher format for most teams.

Ninjas In Pyjamas (NiP) Preview

Ninjas in Pyjamas created some sort of record after they have been involved in five consecutive overtime matches. The team was unlucky as they could not ensure a victory in their latest match which went to three overtimes in three maps. However, the young Swedish roster has shown a lot of resilience and the players have lived up to expectations with their performances. The NiP team comprises a well-organized Swedish roster with a lot of talent amongst the players.

Team Heretics Preview

Team Heretics has been playing very well during the ESL One: Road To Rio. The Kioshima-led team has repeatedly surprised CS:GO fans with their results and the team’s chances. The last time the two teams faced each other was in the group stage of the same tournament. The series went over 2.5 maps with NiP winning the series 2-1.

Pick: Over 2.5 Maps (+100 @ Bovada)

These two teams are playing extremely well this tournament. There's too much skill between these teams to not take a look into the over.
