Match Preview
FaZe Clan is playing with Bymas as a stand-in on the team. The young player is relatively inexperienced when it comes to the pro scene. However, he is one of the best upcoming players in CS:GO. Niko spotted the player in FPL and saw something in the young player. FaZe Clan looks strong enough even when the new player is at the bottom of the table. He is not a player who will stand-out amongst the likes of Niko and Coldzera, but he can provide adequate support to the rest of the squad.
Despite the resurgent CS:GO roster, FaZe Clan is still some ways off their peak performance. They will need time to put up a strong defense on some maps, especially against teams that have a small but detailed map pool like team Spirit. Team Spirit defeated Fnatic 2-0 in the opening match of the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 EU tournament. Fnatic is one of the best teams in the group and Team Spirit’s victory definitely puts them on the radar of the other members in this group.
