Free CS:GO Betting Picks 5/30 - #HomeSweetHome: Week 6 - Complexity vs. Endpoint Preview & Prediction
Complexity and Endpoint are set to square off in the quarterfinals of the #HomeSweetHome: Week 6 Playoffs. The Playoffs feature the top eight teams from the Group Stage taking place in a single elimination bracket. Each match in the Playoffs are set as best-of-three-map matches.
Complexity Preview
The European-based squad Complexity has a mixed-bag roster with players from three different countries. They enter this match ranking 19th in the HLTV world CS:GO rankings. The Group B Stage of the #HomeSweetHome: Week 6 event were fairly kind to Complexity. They were barely edged out in their opening match with SKADE, falling 16-14. However, the team was able to avoid elimination as they beat Apeks 2-0 in the elimination match before avenging their loss to SKADE with a 2-1 win.
Inferno is the team's best map with a 77.8% win rate the past three months and a record of 7-2. They are also strong on both Nuke and Mirage, carrying a 9-4 record on Nuke and a 13- record on Mirage the past three months. Complexity is led by the Dane player blameF. Over the past three months he has 0.75 kills per round while only 0.55 deaths per round. Their second statistical leader is k0nfig who has 0.79 kills per round and only 0.67 deaths per round the past three months.
Endpoint Preview
The United Kingdom-based team Endpoint enters this bout ranking 33rd in the world. They made light work of the Group C portion of the Group Stage earlier in the week. Endpoint dominated HONORIS, winning easily by a score of 16-4. Salamander Gaming gave them a little more trouble in the winner's match, but the team was able to take care of business. Endpoint downed Salamander Gaming 2-1 in a best-of-three affair, seeing them through to the Playoff portion of the event.
The team has a clear-cut two favorites when it comes to map choice. Vertigo is hands-down the best map for Endpoint as they have a 15-4 record on the map the past three months with a win percentage of 78.9%. They are also very strong on the map Dust2 with a 20-9 record and 69% win rate. Much of Endpoint's success comes behind the firepower of CRUC1AL. The Dutch player has been impressive over the past three months with 0.75 kills and only 0.62 deaths per round.
Pick: Endpoint Spread/Handicap +1.5 (+100 @ Bovada)
I have to side with Endpoint in this bout. The map selection process will be key in deciding this battle with both teams having their preferences. Endpoint was on cruise control throughout the Group C section. On the other hand Complexity struggled some during the Group Stage, mainly with SKADE albeit SKADE being a tough opponent. Either way, I find it very difficult to make a case for Complexity to win this match 2-0. Getting Endpoint with a free map at even money is an absolute blessing.
