Free CS:GO Betting Picks 5/31 - ESL Masters Espana Season 7 Grand Final - Movistar Riders vs. sAw Preview & Prediction
The Grand Final match is all set for the ESL Masters Espana Season 7 playoffs, and there isn't many surprised as Movistar Riders will battle it out with sAw. These two teams finished first and second throughout the Regular Season portion of this event, and it's only fitting that they are playing each other for the Grand Final in this best-of-three-map match.
These two met in the Round 3 High Match (the last round before the Playoffs), and Movistar Riders won that affair 2-0. There's a lot at stake in this match as the winner will take home 7,000 EUR (approx. $7,774 USD) as well as they will earn a bid to both the ESEA Season 34 Climber Cup and the ESL Pro European Championship 2020. The loser won't go home empty-handed as they will still rake in 3,000 EUR (approx. $3,331 USD).
Movistar Riders Preview
The roster of Movistar Riders features four players from Spain and one from Brazil. They enter this match ranking 31st in the HLTV world CS:GO rankings. Movistar Riders have been on an absolute tear this tournament as they have yet to lose a single map. So far, they have notched victories over Wygers and sAw as well as two dominating wins over x6tence.
One downside (or potentially an upside depending on how you view it) to backing Movistar Riders is that they aren't overly dominant on any map. Statistically speaking, Inferno has been their best map over the past three months, and even then their record has been 10-7 there over this time. The only player on their roster who has averaged over 0.7 kills per round the past three months has been alex. Although they have crusied through this tournament, Movistar Riders will need a terrific showing from their team leader to take this victory.
sAw Preview
The roster of sAw is composed of four players from Portugal and one native of Spain. They are currently sitting 70th in the HLTV world CS:GO rankings. The only real trouble that sAw ran into during the Regular Season portion of this tournament was when they ran into Movistar Riders. The team has got to be itching for the chance to repay their loss in a big way.
Dust2 is one map that you don't want to play sAw on. Over the past three months, they have been a perfect 5-0 on this map, and one have to figure their opponent will look to ban this map. The team has also been fairly successful on the map Vertigo as they have a 5-2 record the past three months there with an 83.2% win rate after getting the first kill. MUTiRiS is the team leader statistically, but rmn and stadodo have also averaged 0.7 kills per round over the past three months and they are great contributors to the team's success as well.
Pick: Movistar Riders ML (-145 @ Bovada)
There's only one way that I see fitting to play this contest. Both of these teams have had relatively easy paths to the Grand Final, but Movistar Riders have been playing on an entirely different level. In fact, they haven't even lost a single map and this included a 2-0 win against sAw in the last round of the Regular Season portion. It may be worth taking the Movistar Riders' spread (+220), but I am going to play it safe. Movistar Riders is the much better team overall in this matchup and I expect them to win this battle outright.
