Order Preview
Record: 10-0
Order is a team that is arguably the best team competing in this event. They enter this contest riding a win streak and they're ranked 68th in the HLTV world CS:GO rankings. A scary feature of Order is how diverse of a map pool they are solid on. Mirage statistically has been their best map over the past three months with a 90% win rate. They have an 8-1 record on Vertigo and an 8-2 record on Nuke as well.
Not to down J1rah's skills but statistically he's been the worst on the team over the past three months and his kill to death ratio is barely below one. Rickeh, USTILO, aliStair and Valiance make up one of the most solid souls, if not the best, in Australia. The foursome of Order has averaged an outstanding 2.91 kills per round while only dying 2.43 times per round. This may seem like a miniscule difference to some, but it's very rare that a team holds these good of kill to death ratios with four players on their roster.
Overt Preview
Record: 5-4
The 130th ranked Overt squad has had a rough ride through this event, playing under their potential. The team is outstanding on the map Dust2, but outside of this map they have been super spotty. It is somewhat hard to predict which map will ultimately be played in this match which makes Overt difficult to handicap. However, as long as Dust2 isn't played (and it shouldn't be), then this team is hard to trust.
All of Overt's firepower comes from vax. Over the past the months, he has averaged 0.8 kills per round while only dying 0.64 times per round. Jam and dangeR have somewhat been a hinderance to the team lately which isn't a good sign. These two have only averaged a combined 1.15 kills per round while dying 1.52 times per round. For Overt to stand any chance in this contest, vax has to play some of his best CS:GO and Jam and dangeR as well as xeL and cl0ver will have to bring their A game.
Pick: Under 24.5 Rounds (-115 @ Bovada)
You have to lay a tremendous -1600 juice with Order's moneyline which is out of the question, so I am going to play the under. Overt is completely outmatched here and they know it. Entering a contest with this mindset can be fatal for a team, and I expect this to be the case. Order hasn't lost a match in this entire event, and I don't look for them to lose this one either. Expect Order to make quick work of Overt, keeping this contest under the total number of rounds in the process.
