HellRaisers Preview
HLTV world ranking: 66th
The mixed-nationality squad of HellRaisers has been on the move in recent times. At the beginning of May they were ranked 184th in the world, and the team continues to rise in the rankings. HellRaisers is a very proficient team when they play on the map Inferno. They have been good on Nuke in the past also, but they have no other maps besides these two in which they have a higher win rate of 50% on.
Flarich and jR have been the statistical team leaders as of late, although the majority of the teams success comes from their play as a unit as opposed to particularly being carried by one or two players. For HellRaisers to see success, they need to stick to their guns (no pun intended) and play well as a team. HellRaisers has been very good at avoiding being caught off guard in play which makes a team hard to beat without proper strategy, map alignment and a little bit of luck.
Hard Legion
HLTV world rankings: 29th
The Russian squad of Hard Legion has been playing some of the best Counter Strike of their existence in more recent times. Not many teams can compete with them once the game is taken to the maps Dust2 and Train. On Dust2, Hard Legion has a 10-3 record over the past three months with an 8-3 record on Train during this period also.
I don't want it to seem like I'm downplaying svyat or kinqie's skills, but they are the only players on the team with a kill to death ratio under one and even then they aren't far from even. Forester is a very dependable player and he's averaged a solid 0.74 kills and 0.67 deaths per round over the past three months. Krad has been right with him, averaging 0.74 kills and 0.68 deaths per round over this same time.
Pick: Over 2.5 Rounds (+105 @ Bovada)
This is a somewhat difficult match to handicap due to how well both teams have been playing lately as a whole. HellRaisers has steadily been rising in the world rankings, and their opponent Hard Legion is highly ranked for a reason. This is by no means a max play, but of all the lines the over at plus money makes the most sense. I can make a case for either team to win outright, and I believe that either team is good enough to avoid being swept 2-0. The most profitable bet to me seems to be to play the over and look a competitive game which should be the case as these teams took three games to decide a winner in the previous meeting.
