G2 and North face each other in Group A of the DreamHack Masters Spring EU: 2020 online tournament. The DreamHack Masters Spring: Europe has sixteen teams battling it out online for a piece of the $160,000 prize pool. The group stage has the teams playing best-of-three series with the group winners proceeding to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The second and third-placed teams will move to the lower bracket in the playoffs.
G2 Preview
G2 lost the grand finals of the ESL One: Road to Rio to Astralis. The french team could not put up any resistance to the Danes as they lost 0-3 to Astralis. Despite their best efforts, G2 secured 1500 Regional Major Ranking points. These points will be key in the team receiving an invitation to the ESL One Rio Major in November.
North Preview
North has a Danish roster and recently added "Kristou" on loan. With a relatively new roster, CS:GO fans don’t know what to expect off North. Kristou is a very unknown name and facing off against some fo the best CS:GO players, the youngster will need to prove his worth on the international stage.
