BetMGM Missouri Partners With Century Casinos

BetMGM Missouri figures to be a major player when Missouri sports betting launches this December. The company announced a major partnership Tuesday, one that also involves a major land-based casino brand in the Show-Me State.

Century Casinos will team up with BetMGM Missouri to bring its product to Missourians later this year. The company owns Century Casino and Hotel, located in Cape Girardeau (on the state’s border with Illinois).

More on BetMGM Missouri and the partnership

The operator will be able to do business under Century’s license in the state once Missouri sports betting opens its virtual doors on December 1, 2025. Under the terms of the deal, Century will receive a percentage of net gaming revenue, with a guaranteed minimum.

Co-CEOs Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger celebrated the deal in a press release. They said:

“We are excited to partner with BetMGM, a leading online sports betting and gaming entertainment company with a dynamic and innovative brand. This partnership is another step forward in leveraging our Missouri licenses and delivering premium entertainment experiences for our customers.”

List of MO sports betting partnerships grows

BetMGM Missouri’s deal with Century is yet another agreement made as the state’s industry begins to take shape. Here are some other notable partnerships that have been formed in Missouri:

  • bet365 Missouri is the official mobile sports betting partner of the MLB’s St. Louis Cardinals.
  • Missouri’s other MLB team, the Kansas City Royals, has partnerships with FanDuel Missouri, ESPN BET Missouri, and Underdog.
  • The NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs have deals with both BetMGM Missouri and DraftKings.
  • The NHL’s St. Louis Blues do business with BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings, as well as Caesars Sportsbook Missouri.

Several more important agreements could be drafted between now and December, too. Century Casino and Hotel is one of 13 in-state casinos that could do business with online sportsbooks after the December launch.

In addition, the University of Missouri could theoretically partner with online sportsbooks, too. The minimum age for sports betting is 21, but Missouri will have no restrictions on college sports betting (unlike some states, which ban wagering on in-state college teams).
