The Bears improved to 10-2 overall and look to maintain their momentum as conference play gets underway. Against Arlington Baptist, Baylor trailed just once, at 3-2, before going on a 22-2 run to take a 24-5 advantage with 14:27 to play in the first half. The rout was on from there as the Bears led 69-31 at the half and led by as many as 65 en route to the win. Baylor shot a scorching 73.5% from the floor, including five of 14 from three-point range, and dominated the glass by a 53-18 margin. Tounde Yessoufou led the Bears with 28 points, seven rebounds, five assists and six steals in the win.
