Boise State vs. Chaminade Pick
Boise State vs. Chaminade Spread Pick
- Boise State (4 units)
Boise State has been stung by a couple losses to power conference foes as they were downed by three by USC in the opening round before falling to NC State Tuesday. There isn’t a possible softer landing on day three for the Broncos than the Silverswords but Rice has to be careful to remind his team to not overlook anyone. After all, Boise State fell 79-78 to Hawaii Pacific in their season opener. That Hawaii Pacific squad is in the same conference as Chaminade. We saw the Silverswords get sliced and diced defensively in the first two rounds. Look for something similar here as the Broncos leave the islands with a win under their belts.
Boise State vs. Chaminade Over/Under Pick
- Over (4 units)
Boise State has stayed under the number in four of their five games with a posted total. The Broncos are 25th in defensive efficiency, 152nd in effective field goal percentage defense (50.3%), 27th in allowed offensive rebounding percentage (23.4%) and 169th in forced turnover percentage (18%) this season. Boise State is 255th in adjusted tempo with 68.7 possessions a night. Chaminade has no problem pushing the tempo and we saw them pile up points in the first two rounds. The flip side is that they are no stranger to giving up points either as they allowed 209 combined points against Washington State and Texas. Look for this game to wind up over the number.
