Clemson vs. Alabama Spread Pick

  • Alabama -9 (4 units)

Clemson comes in with four straight wins, but their defense will be severely tested taking on the Crimson Tide’s offensive attack. The Tigers are above average offensively but they don’t have the scoring depth that Alabama brings to the table. Alabama has seven players scoring more than nine points a night, so they’re able to rotate pieces in and out without losing much in the way of firepower. Clemson will have to prevent Alabama from controlling the tempo and enforcing their will. The Tigers downed West Virginia and Georgia on a neutral floor, though they dropped their lone true road game at Georgetown. Alabama is tougher than the Hoyas and that helps carry them to a victory here.

Clemson vs. Alabama Over/Under Pick

  • Over 163.5 (4 units)

Clemson has seen the over post a 5-3 mark in their eight games this season. The Tigers are 27th in offensive efficiency, 85th in effective field goal percentage (54.6%), 57th in offensive rebounding percentage (36.1%) and 12th in turnover percentage (13.1%) this season. Clemson is 301st in adjusted tempo as they average 66.8 possessions per game according to KenPom. Alabama has seen the over post a 4-3 mark in their seven games on the year. The Crimson Tide is 3rd in offensive efficiency, 21st in effective field goal percentage (58.7%), fifth in threes per game and 27th in turnover percentage (14%) this season. Alabama is eighth in tempo according to KenPom with 74.5 possessions a night. Look for the Crimson Tide to push the pace and that helps this one over the total.
