Colorado vs. Baylor Spread Pick

  • Baylor -6.5 (4 units)

Colorado comes in off a big win over TCU but that contest came at home. The Buffaloes have to go on the road here, where they are just 1-4 on the season, and they come in with three straight road defeats. Baylor was slumping but picked up a road win in Morgantown over a West Virginia team that beat Colorado by 11 last month. The Bears are 8-4 at home and they have solid scoring depth to work with in their rotation. Colorado doesn’t have the weapons to hang with Baylor, who should slice and dice the Buffaloes on the defensive end, spearheading them to a victory.

Colorado vs. Baylor Over/Under Pick

  • Over 158.5 (4 units)

Colorado has seen the over post an 11-11 mark in their 22 games with a posted total. The Buffaloes have work to do defensively as they are 142nd in defensive rating, though they are 285th in field goal percentage defense (45.9%), 201st in two-point defense (51.1%), 230th in threes allowed per game (eight) and 342nd in three-point defense (36.8%) on the year. Colorado is 113th in adjusted tempo with 68.7 possessions per contest. Baylor is 101st in defensive efficiency, 151st in field goal percentage defense (43.2%), 243rd in forced turnovers (11.3) and 227th in scoring defense. The Bears are 132nd in adjusted tempo with 68.2 possessions a night. Baylor has gone over the number in 12 of their 20 games with a posted total this season. Look for both teams to push the pace and with the Buffaloes’ defensive issues, this game winds up over the total.
