Duke triesΒ to stay undefeated in Conference Play

Despite the loss just before Christmas, Duke is a top ten team in the country. The Blue Devils bounced back from their loss against Texas Tech with a six-point home victory against Georgia Tech on the final day of 2025. The Duke defense did the job against Georgia Tech, allowing 79 points, including just 36 in the second half. Georgia Tech shot 54% from the field, but Duke won the rebounding battle by 14 and forced 17 turnovers in the win. Offensively, Duke rolled, scoring 85 points, including 46 in the second half, to erase a four-point halftime deficit on 41 percent shooting, and the Blue Devils knocked down nine triples in the game. Florida State Looks for First Conference Win

Florida State hasn't lived up to its expectations through 14 games this season, coming into Saturday with seven wins and seven losses. The Seminoles have lost three of their last five overall, including their first conference game of the year against North Carolina, 79-66, in their previous game of 2025. Chauncey Wiggins was the most prominent bright spot for the Florida State offense, leading the team with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Florida State offense has been the team’s biggest strength, averaging 83.6 points per game on 42% shooting. Defensively, the Seminoles of Florida State are allowing 78.4 points per game and have given up an average of 93 points per game over their last three losses. Robert McCray V leads the Florida State offense this season after 13.4 points and 7.1 assists per game. Chauncey Wiggins averages 12.3 points per game. Lajae Jones averages 11.6 points per game.
