A notable fact about their recent streak is that their lone loss in the stretch came against this St. Bonaventure squad. The Bonnies are only 3-8 in league play, ahead of only La Salle and Loyola Chicago in the 14 team league. Neither of these two teams are likely to get an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, so they would need to get hot and win the conference tournament to advance. In their last game, St. Bonaventure was led by Daryl Simmons II with 23 points and five rebounds in their win over Fordham.
Simmons is also their top scorer and outside shooter, as this game appears to be a battle of high level outside scorers.
