The college hoops betting action continues Wednesday, November 12, 2025, so we are breaking down the non-conference showdown from Alex G. Spanos Center in Stockton, CA, to get you the Long Beach State vs. Pacific prediction.
The Beach meet the Tigers for the first time since 2019, when Pacific beat LBSU 65-46 as a 1-point road dog. The Tigers are undefeated in three straight encounters with the Beach, who haven’t beaten the number in six consecutive dates with Pacific.
Now, let’s look closer at this Long Beach State vs. Pacific prediction, one of our NCAAB picks for Wednesday’s card. The tip-off at Alex G. Spanos Center is set at 10:00 PM ET, and the Tigers open as 10.5-point home favorites with a total of 145.5 points.
Long Beach State continues to struggle
The Long Beach State Beach went 0-2 SU and ATS in the opening week. After a heavy 77-45 defeat at San Diego State, the Beach suffered an 82-62 loss at Fresno State. LBSU is now winless in 17 consecutive outings, dating back to the previous season.

The Beach didn’t stand a chance against the Aztecs, who are one of the best teams on the West Coast. LBSU made just 32.2% of its field goals (5-for-24 from downtown) and committed 21 turnovers. Sophomore forward Petar Majstorovic led the way with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Against the Bulldogs, LBSU was a 6.5-point road dog. It was another bad performance, as the Beach shot 37.7% from the field (4-for-21 from deep) while playing lousy defense. Majstorovic had nine points and six rebounds, and freshman guard Gavin Sykes notched 11 points and five boards.
Pacific nearly stunned Nevada
The Pacific Tigers started their 2025-26 campaign last Wednesday, beating the NAIA Life Pacific 83-56 in front of the home fans. The Tigers shot 52.5% from the field (8-for-25 from deep) while posting a 17/7 assist-to-turnover ratio, and senior forward Elias Ralph led the way with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Three days later, the Tigers suffered a heartbreaking 78-77 defeat at Nevada. Playing as 13.5-point road underdogs, the Tigers led the Wolf Pack 68-63 with 4:45 left on the clock. Pacific went 15-for-33 from downtown, but the Tigers scored just 18 points in the paint and gave up 18 offensive rebounds.
Ralph tortured Nevada for 21 points, eight boards, and three blocks. Senior guard TJ Wainwright, a transfer from Long Beach State, accounted for 14 points, while fellow senior G Jaden Clayton had four points and 11 assists.
Long Beach State vs. Pacific Pick
Spread Pick for Long Beach State vs. Pacific
- Pacific -10.5 (5 units)
Long Beach State looks like a bad team. The Beach arguably lack talent, and they just lost to Fresno State by 20 points. Fresno State is not good either, so I expect Pacific to beat LBSU comfortably.
The Tigers impressed in that narrow loss against Nevada. Elias Ralph is off to a strong start after tallying 14.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in 2024-25, and he should dominate the Beach. TJ Wainwright will take on his former school after scoring 13.4 points per game in the Beach uniform last season.
Over/Under Pick for Long Beach State vs. Pacific
- Over 145.5 (5 units)
Neither side plays at a fast pace, but they struggle to defend, especially the Beach. Long Beach State allows 10.0 3-pointers per game (306th in the country) on a 43.5 percentage clip (354th).
Pacific allows just 5.0 triples per game (37th), but the Tigers surrender 29.5 free-throw attempts per contest (331st). Their interior defense is far from elite level. The Tigers lean on their offense, and they could easily hit an 80-point mark in this game. Like I said, the Beach just gave up 82 points to Fresno State.
