Richmond vs. Fordham Spread Pick

  • Richmond (4 units)

As well as the Rams have played defensively this season, there still are concerns about this team in conference play. Injuries are a factor as three contributors, including their Swiss army knife in Henry, who can score and facilitate the offense, are questionable here. In addition, Richmond has taken 21 of the last 22 meetings in the series and are poised to get back on track. The Spiders are a better offensive unit than they were a season ago and Fordham has had issues at the line, which can be pivotal in tight games. As it stands, Richmond is healthier at this point of the year and their weapons should be enough to get by a depleted Fordham squad.

Richmond vs. Fordham Over/Under Pick

  • Under (4 units)

For the season, the Spiders have seen the over post a 7-6 mark in their 13 games with a posted total. Richmond is 121st in offensive efficiency, 65th in effective field goal percentage (55.1%), 243rd in offensive rebounding percentage (29%), 131st in field goal percentage and 82nd in three-point shooting. The Spiders stand 152nd in tempo with 69.5 possessions a night this season. Fordham is solid defensively, ranking 117th in defensive efficiency, 46th in effective field goal percentage defense (46.7%), 7th in opposing free throw rate (.225 FT attempts per FG attempt), 25th in two-point defense (44.6%) and 128th in three-point defense (31.7%) this season. The Rams take the air out of the ball as they are 345th in adjusted tempo with 65 possessions a night. Fordham has seen the under hit in nine of their 11 games with a posted number on the year. The Rams lean on their defense and this game winds up short of the number.
