Southeast Missouri expected to compete for OVC Title
Southeast Missouri is a preseason #2 pick in the Ohio Valley Conference. Brandan Terry, who finished last season averaging 11.2 points per game, returns to lead the Redhawks' offense. Terry was an All-OVC selection last season. Southeast Missouri lost its top two scorers from last season, but Terry will take over as the go-to scorer for the Red Hawks in 2025-26. Last season, St Louis scored an average of 74.3 points per game and allowed an average of 71.3 points per game. The Billikens shot 47.7% overall and allowed opponents to shoot 42.2% overall. The Saint Louis Billikens lost their second and third leading scorers from last season, Gibson Jimerson and Isaiah Swope, but Robbie Avila, who led the Billikens in scoring at 17.3 points per game, returns along with four other players, including Kalu Anya, who averaged 6.5 points per game and led the Billikens in rebounds at 7.5 boards per contest.

St Louis added several new players, including one freshman and six transfers. The Billikens added Dion Brown from Boston College, Brady Dunlap from St John's, Trey Green from Xavier, and Quentin Jones from Northern Illinois, among others. The five returning players from last season, combined with the new faces on the roster, give St Louis a solid foundation to build off as they compete in a tough Atlantic 10 Conference.
