Tennessee vs. Florida Pick
Tennessee vs. Florida Spread Pick
- Florida -5.5 (4 units)
Tennessee is the ranked team here but there are no pushovers in the SEC, especially if you’re the visiting team. The Volunteers own a neutral floor win over Houston but they are 0-2 in road games this season, falling to Syracuse and Arkansas. Florida is a perfect 7-0 at home on the year and just showed a ranked foe in Georgia that Gainesville isn’t a friendly environment if you’re the visiting team. The Gators are terrific on the glass as they lead the nation in rebounding and they can hold their own on both ends of the floor. Seeing how Tennessee has struggled on the road and knowing how tough Florida is at home, give the advantage to the Gators here.
Tennessee vs. Florida Over/Under Pick
- Under 151.5 (4 units)
Tennessee is one of the stingiest teams in the nation when it comes to shutting opposing teams down this season. The Volunteers are 25th in the nation in scoring defense, 13th in defensive efficiency, 10th in effective field goal percentage defense (44.7%), 12th in field goal percentage defense (38.2%) and 29th in the nation in three-point defense (29.1%) this season. Tennessee is a slow-paced team as they are 232nd in the nation with 67.3 possessions per game. Florida is 26th in offensive efficiency, second in offensive rebounding percentage (44.2%) and 53rd in two-point shooting (57.9%) and first in the nation by pulling down 17.3 offensive boards a night. The Gators are 69th in adjusted tempo according to KenPom with 70.4 possessions a night. Both teams are good on the glass and stingy defensively so this one ends up just short of the number.
