Tennessee vs. Georgia Pick

Tennessee vs. Georgia Spread Pick

  • Tennessee (4 units)

This one is going to be an interesting clash as both teams are effective offensive attacks. The Volunteers are coming in off an upset win over #17 Alabama but that marked their first road win of the season, leaving them 1-3 on the year as the visiting team. Georgia is 11-1 at home with their lone defeat coming in a 97-95 defeat to Ole Miss January 14. The Bulldogs are better offensively and they are healthier than the Volunteers at this point of the year. With that in mind, Georgia has struggled slowing opposing teams down on the defensive end of the floor. Tennesseeโ€™s ability to defend proves to be the difference in this contest as they come up with a second straight road win.

Tennessee vs. Georgia Over/Under Pick

  • Under (4 units)

Tennessee is one of the stingiest teams in the nation when it comes to shutting opposing teams down this season yet has seen the over post a 12-7 mark. The Volunteers are 62nd in the nation in scoring defense, 14th in defensive efficiency, 24th in field goal percentage defense (39.4%) and 25th in the nation in three-point defense (29.7%) this season. Tennessee is a slow-paced team as they are 245th in the nation with 66 possessions per game. Georgia, for all their offensive fireworks, has seen the over post just a 10-10 mark in their 20 games on the year. The Bulldogs are stingy, ranking 46th in defensive efficiency, 76th in field goal percentage defense (41.8%), tied for 24th in forced turnovers (15.2) and lead the nation in made free throws (21) per game this season. Georgia is 2nd in tempo with 73.8 possessions a night.ย  Look for Tennessee to slow the tempo a bit and keep the Bulldogs off the line, holding this game under the number.
