Toledo vs. Akron Pick

Toledo vs. Akron Spread Pick

  • Akron -12.5 (4 units)

Akron has reeled off six straight wins, winning their last two wire-to-wire on the road in romps over Buffalo and Ohio. The Zips are playing solid basketball and own a perfect 10-0 mark at home on the year, with all of those victories coming by double figures. Toledo managed to edge Bowling Green at home but they are just 3-5 as the visiting team on the year. The Rockets were drubbed 92-69 at Michigan State in their lone Quad I game of the year. While they’ve hung tough in their other road losses (falling by one at Oakland, by five at Robert Morris, by three at Kent State and by two at UMass), traveling to face an Akron team that is one of the most explosive squads in the nation is too much for the Rockets. Take the Zips at home.

Toledo vs. Akron Over/Under Pick

The Zips are fourth in field goal percentage, sixth in two-point shooting (62.2%), 11th in threes per game and 15th in three-point shooting. Akron is 29th in adjusted tempo with 70.9 possessions a night. This one turns into a track meet, pushing this game over the number.
