Western Kentucky needs to improve its shooting
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers lost the opening game of this tournament by five points to Vanderbilt, while shooting 37% overall and 32% from 3-point territory. Teagan Moore scored 24 points to lead Western Kentucky, while Cam Haffner was second with 18 points. In Wednesday's loss, the leading scorer for South Florida was Izaiyah Nelson with 16 points, while Josh Omojafo scored 14 and CJ Brown added 11. Nelson was the leading rebounder with 12, and the leader in assists was Brown with five. South Florida has to make quick improvements on its rebounding and must shoot better from the perimeter; otherwise, the Bulls will lose to Western Kentucky on Thursday.
