Arizona State vs. Duke Prediction
Spread Pick for Arizona State vs. Duke
- Duke -2.5 (4 units)
Arizona State was playing well before falling to Arizona in their regular season finale. The Sun Devils enter this one minus a slew of key contributors on the offensive side of the ball. Arizona State won’t have their initial starting quarterback (Leavitt), their leading ground gainer and their top three pass catchers on the field for this contest. Duke won three straight to close the season and they have most of their key contributors back in the mix offensively here. That includes Mensah, who said he will return in 2026, giving Duke their signal caller for this contest. Duke should take advantage of a thinned-out Sun Devils squad to earn the win here.
Over/Under Pick for Arizona State vs. Duke
- Under 49.5 (4 units)
Arizona State has seen the under post an 8-4 mark in their 12 games this season. The Sun Devils recorded back-to-back overs before falling to Arizona in their finale. Missing so many of their big contributors on the offensive side of the ball means that the Sun Devils are going to have their issues moving the ball, much less putting points on the board. Duke has seen the over post a 9-4 mark in their 13 games this season. The Blue Devils are an excellent offensive squad though they have had defensive issues. Duke cracked the 30-point mark eight times during the season while allowing the opposition to score at least 30 points seven times. The Blue Devils should be able to hold Arizona State in check, which means their offense won’t need to pile up big numbers. Take the under in this contest as a result.
