Kentucky Wildcats vs Vanderbilt Commodores Picks

Kentucky vs Vandy Spread Pick and Prediction

  • Vanderbilt -9 (5 units)

It’s a big game for Vanderbilt as they look to continue their quest to qualify for the College Football Playoff. They survived a test against Auburn in their last game, where they needed overtime to secure the win. This week, they should come out of the gates fast and take down a Kentucky team that has struggled at times in SEC play. The Wildcats have won three straight games, but Vanderbilt will be the best team that they have faced during this stretch. Diego Pavia is continuing his Heisman campaign and he will need another big performance, which he will deliver versus Kentucky’s 57th-ranked pass defense. Vanderbilt is 5-1 against the spread as a favorite and at home this year. Kentucky is 1-2 against the spread when playing on the road.

Take Vanderbilt to cover.

Kentucky vs Vanderbilt Over/Under Pick

  • Over 53 points (5 units)

Vanderbilt’s offense is built on big plays and scoring tons of points. The offense is averaging 38.3 points per game which is the ninth-best mark in the nation. They also need style points, so if they have a lead over Kentucky, they will continue to hammer the Wildcats all game long. Kentucky’s offense has improved recently, too. They have scored at least 38 points in back-to-back games. The over is 3-0 when the total has been set at 50 points or higher for Kentucky games. The over is 4-2 when Vanderbilt has played at home.

Take the over on Saturday.
