Middle Tennessee vs. New Mexico State Pick
Middle Tennessee vs. New Mexico State Spread Pick
- New Mexico State Aggies -3.5 (4 units)
Both teams snapped lengthy losing skids last week as Middle Tennessee got back on track after a seven-game slide while New Mexico State snapped a five-game skid by prevailing on the road. The starting quarterback situation is murky for both sides as both Vattiato and Fife are questionable for this contest. Neither team does a ton offensively, especially when it comes to running the ball. Middle Tennessee is 1-4 on the road this season while New Mexico State is 3-2 at home on the year. The Aggies are the better team right now and they come up with the home victory in the season finale.
Middle Tennessee vs. New Mexico State Over/Under Pick
- Under 53 (4 units)
Middle Tennessee has stayed under the number in six of their 11 games on the year. The Blue Raiders offense has sputtered and it’s hard to see them generating much in the way of offensive production. Middle Tennessee have gone over the total in three of their five road games this season, mainly because they have surrendered 42 points in three of those contests. We don’t have to worry about that kind of firepower from New Mexico State, who has scored 21 points or less in eight of their 11 games. The Aggies have stayed under the number in seven of their 11 contests. Watch for this game to fall short of the total as each team struggles to move the ball.
