Missouri Waits For Their Quarterback
The Missouri Tigers stole quarterback Brent Pribula away from Penn State, but are unsure if he will be able to start this game as the Tigers head down the stretch of the 2025 season. Pribula (dislocated ankle) looks like he may be a gametime decision for this game against Oklahoma, but he is medically cleared, and most Tigers fans expect him to see the field in this one. The Tigers have dropped two of their last three, but still are holding on hope to get a prime time bowl game.
In their last game, Missouri got an absurd 300 rushing yards from Ahmad Hardy in their win over Mississippi State. He is a 5'10 sophomore who has accumulated 1,346 rushing yards this season to go with his 15 rushing touchdowns. This is his first season with the team since coming over from Louisiana-Monroe. It is unclear whether Pribula can start for the Tigers; if he cannot go it will be Matt Zollers behind center as a 6'4 freshman who has 402 yards and a 4-1 TD-INT ratio in his appearances this season.
Kevin Coleman Jr. has been their top wideout by a wide margin; he has 56 catches for 600 yards and a touchdown as a 5'11 senior. The Tigers have 29 sacks on the season, led by defensive end Damon Wilson II with seven off the edge. The Tigers have generated seven interceptions on the season, with Toriano Pride Jr. being the only player with two picks out of the secondary.

Sooners Take the Driver Seat
The Oklahoma Sooners are now 8th in the AP Poll and have a realistic shot at making the College Football Playoff out of the SEC. There is a chance they miss out on the SEC Championship game, but they will do their best to impress the committee with their remaining games against Missouri and LSU to grab an at-large bid. In their most recent game, the Sooners upset Alabama by grabbing an early lead, and potentially knocked the Crimson Tide out of the Playoff. Their defense had a pick-six and sacked Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson four times.
The Sooners are led by quarterback John Mateer, who battled an injury in the middle of the season but is now back to lead the Sooners as far as he can take them. Mateer played his last three seasons with Washington State, but is now leading the Sooners in his final year of eligibility. He has 2,087 passing yards with an 8-7 TD-INT ratio, while being a solid rushing threat with 329 yards on the ground. The Sooners' offense is powered by Tory Blalock, the freshman back has 402 yards on 98 carries with four touchdowns on the season.
Their top wideout has been Isaiah Satenga III, as he has 53 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns on the season. The Sooners defense has 37 sacks on the year, led by R Mason Thomas with 6.5 sacks off the edge, who is questionable for this game with an undisclosed injury. Their defense has six sacks from six different members of their defense.
Missouri vs. Oklahoma Picks and Predictions
Spread pick for Missouri vs. Oklahoma
- Missouri +6.5 (5 units)
The Missouri Tigers are getting almost a touchdown in this one, with their quarterback position in limbo. This is worth a bet on Missouri, because if Pribula plays, this should be much closer than a pick-em, with the Tigers benefiting from strong quarterback play. Oklahoma is coming off two strong victories, but did not blow out their opponent in either of their last two wins. The total in this game is only 42.5, which means they expect it to be relatively low scoring. The Tigers could get a boost from their starting quarterback, but either way will cover the number.
Take Missouri plus the points.
Over/Under Pick for Missouri vs. Oklahoma
- Under (4 units)
The Oklahoma Sooners have been hitting unders all season. They have gone under in all of their first seven games, and will hit the under again here against Missouri. The Tigers could potentially be without their starting quarterback, which means there will be value on the under, as the injury report is still unclear at a valuable position. Missouri has gone under in three of their last five, and will want to play a conservative brand of offense in this SEC battle.
Take the under.
