Panthers Seek to Keep Rolling
Pitt won their third straight game as they went on the road and took down Syracuse last week. The Panthers improved to 5-2 overall on the year and stand tied for fourth in the ACC with a 3-1 mark in conference play. Against Syracuse, Pitt was even at seven after the opening quarter and led just 10-7 just before the half, before Kenny Johnson returned a punt 66 yards for a score with two seconds to play. That gave Pitt a 17-7 lead at the half and never let Syracuse closer than that the rest of the way.
