Oklahoma vs Alabama Spread Pick

  • Alabama -5 (5 units)

This is bound to be a close game with two playoff caliber teams. Alabama will get the win and defend home turf as they continue their quest towards the SEC Championship game. The Crimson Tide have looked their best at home as they are undefeated in their home stadium while they are also 5-0 against the spread on their home turf, too. Ty Simpson is becoming one of the favorites for the Heisman and he’s been excellent thrown 21 touchdowns and just one pick. He has the weapons to get around a very good Oklahoma defense.

The Sooners defense is elite as they rank eight in scoring and fourth best against the run. The problem with Oklahoma is that their offense is not up to the same caliber as the defense. Passing the ball has been issue for quarterback John Mateer and the Sooners rank 62nd in passing and 93rd in rushing. The Crimson Tide’s defense will force a few turnovers and cause some big stops allowing the offense to succeed with good field position.

Take Alabama to cover.

Oklahoma vs Alabama Over/Under Pick

  • Under 46 (5 units)

Defense has been one of the best features for both teams this season. Oklahoma is allowing just 14 points per game while their offense is averaging 29 points per game.
