Penn State vs Washington Picks and Predictions for Saturday, November 7, 2026
Penn State travels to Seattle on Saturday to face Washington at Husky Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30 pm ET on FS1. The Nittany Lions (4-4, 1-4 Big Ten, tied for 15th) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 31-17 victory over Purdue last Saturday. Washington (5-3, 2-3 Big Ten, tied for 11th) beat Nebraska 17-10 on the road and has won two straight. The Huskies are favored by 2.5 points, with the total at 44.5. Penn State Looking to Build on Purdue Win
Penn State finally got back in the win column Saturday, beating Purdue 31-17 after losing four straight games. The Nittany Lions had fallen 21-18 to Michigan, 31-23 to USC and 34-13 to Northwestern during that stretch. Penn State also lost 24-20 to Wisconsin in September. The offense has scored more than 23 points just once in its last five games, but the defense has kept several losses close.
Rocco Becht (1,839 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, five interceptions) has completed 63.2% of his passes. Chase Sowell leads the receivers with 510 yards and three touchdowns, while Carson Hansen has rushed for 374 yards and five scores. Cam Wallace has added 260 rushing yards, averaging 5.9 per carry. Tony Rojas has been Penn State's top defensive player with 57 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions.
Injuries: B. Kortovich, D. Sheffey, Koby Howard and M. Granville are out.

Washington Looking for Third Straight Win
Washington has recovered from three consecutive losses with victories over Purdue and Nebraska. The Huskies beat Nebraska 17-10 last Saturday after winning 38-26 at Purdue on October 16. Before that, Washington lost 41-24 to Iowa, 25-21 to USC and 27-24 to Minnesota. Three of the Huskies' last five games have been decided by seven points or fewer. Washington has also scored 24 points or fewer in four of those contests.
Demond Williams Jr. (1,495 passing yards, nine touchdowns, three interceptions) has completed 65.8% of his throws but is listed as questionable. Elijah Brown has also played at quarterback, throwing for 714 yards and seven touchdowns. Chris Lawson leads the receivers with 638 yards, while Dezmen Roebuck has 53 catches for 509 yards. Brian Bonner Jr. leads the rushing attack with 309 yards. Safety Alex McLaughlin has 56 tackles and three interceptions.
Injuries: C. Christian, Jayden Limar and Quaid Carr are out. Trey Cooley, C. Moss and Demond Williams Jr. are questionable.
Key To The Game
Washington's quarterback situation deserves attention with Williams listed as questionable. Penn State has struggled to score consistently but has a defense capable of keeping games close. The Nittany Lions will need Becht to avoid turnovers against a Washington secondary that has recorded 12 interceptions. Whether the Huskies can establish their running game could also matter.
Penn State vs Washington Game Pick
- Penn State Nittany Lions +2.5
Washington comes into Saturday's game with wins over Purdue and Nebraska, although the Huskies needed a strong defensive effort to get past Nebraska 17-10. Washington has also lost three of its last five games, including close defeats to USC and Minnesota. Penn State ended a four-game losing streak against Purdue last Saturday and had previously stayed within four points of Michigan and Wisconsin. Rocco Becht has thrown for 1,839 yards, while Tony Rojas leads the defense with five sacks. With Demond Williams Jr. questionable for Washington, I like Penn State to cover the 2.5-point spread.
Penn State vs Washington Over/Under Pick
- Under 44.5
Scoring has been a problem for both teams over the past month. Penn State managed just 18 points against Michigan and 13 against Northwestern before putting up 31 against Purdue. Washington scored 17 in its latest win over Nebraska, following a 38-point performance against Purdue. The Huskies have also been held to 21 points or fewer twice in their last four games. Penn State has a strong pass rusher in Rojas, while Washington has collected 12 interceptions this season. With questions surrounding Williams' availability, I'm expecting fewer scoring chances and will take the under.
