Pitt vs. Syracuse Prediction

Spread Pick for Pitt vs. Syracuse

  • Pitt -10.5 (4 units)

Pitt has rebounded with a pair of wins as Heintschel has sparked their offense to 82 points in that span after taking over for Holstein. The Panthers are clicking right now and facing a Syracuse team heading in the wrong direction makes for a solid matchup for the visitors. Syracuse was playing solid ball, but losing Angeli with a torn Achilles took some air of their sails. Collins Jr. has already thrown more picks than Angeli in 60 fewer pass attempts and the Orange has turned the ball over a dozen times this season. Pitt can do a ton of damage through the air and Syracuse has surrendered 291.2 yards per game and 15 scores through the air. Heintschel has another big game, and that delivers a victory for the visitors as they roll to the win.

Over/Under Pick for Pitt vs. Syracuse

  • Over 54.5 (4 units)

Pitt has seen the over hit in four of their six games entering this contest. The Panthers have put up at least 24 points in every game this season and have put up 34-plus points in four of their games. Pitt has split their two road games in relation to the total this season, posting a combined 55 points (against a number of 55.5) in their game against West Virginia and 65 points (against a number of 57.5 points) in their win over Florida State. Syracuse has seen the over hit In three of their six games on the year. The Orange have posted totals of 71, 47, 90 and 55 points in their first four games. Their last two have been lower with 41 and 49 combined points. Pitt should light up Syracuse’s leaky defense and help push this game over the number.
