San Jose State vs. San Diego State Pick
Spread Pick for San Jose State vs. San Diego State
- San Diego State -11.5 (4 units)
San Jose State is trending in the wrong direction with four losses in their last five games. Getting obliterated by Nevada in a game where they were favored by 9.5 points on the road is cause for concern. The Spartans now have to travel to face a San Diego State squad that is extremely stingy on the defensive side of the ball. We’ve seen the Aztecs limit seven of their 10 opponents to 10 points or less this season, including three shutouts. San Diego State is 5-0 at home while San Jose State is 0-5 on the road after getting thrashed last week by the Wolf Pack. The Aztecs don’t score a ton of points but the Spartans are stifled here. San Diego State wins here to maintain their spot atop the Mountain West.
Over/Under Pick for San Jose State vs. San Diego State
- Under 50.5 (4 units)
San Jose State has seen the over hit in six of their 10 games on the year. The Spartans have gone over the number in six of their last eight games, but they have scored just 26 combined points in the last two games. San Diego State has stayed under the number in seven of their 10 games on the season. The Aztecs have seen the under post a 4-1 mark in their five home games this season. San Diego State has given up only 7.6 points per game in their home tilts this season and expecting much more from San Jose State is dangerous. We know the Aztecs aren’t an offensive powerhouse so lean to the under in this contest.
