Can the Aggies keep their undefeated record intact on Saturday afternoon? Continue reading for the Razorbacks vs. Aggies prediction. When it comes to college football selections, our NCAAF Predictions are stellar.

Texas A&M Remains Undefeated on Season

The Texas A&M Aggies are attempting to keep their undefeated record intact. Texas A&M is proving to be a championship contender. They beat Notre Dame on the road last month and recorded a 16-10 home win against Auburn to conclude September. The Aggies pelted Mississippi State 31-9 in week six and issued a dominating 34-17 home win against Florida last week to cover the 6.5-point spread. The Aggies are 3-0 in SEC play and have covered in two of three conference games. They climbed to #4 in this week's edition of the AP Top 25 rankings.

Marcel Reed doesn’t post huge numbers, but has been steady under center. The sophomore QB has reached 220 passing yards in all but two games and has produced 1490 passing yards and a 12:4 TD to INT ratio on the season. He has added just under 200 rushing yards. Texas A&M will run more than pass and they have a ton of threats.  Le’Veon Moss rushed for 139 yards in the win against Auburn and only had five rushes for 46 yards last week. The senior RB has gained 389 yards on the season. However, Moss is out for this one due to an ankle injury. Rueben Owens, who had 51 yards and a TD last week against Florida, is expected to get more touches.

The receiving corps is stacked. Mario Craver has surpassed 100 yards on three occasions this season. The sophomore WR netted 77 yards last week and has brought in a total of 634 yards. KC Concepcion is also having an outstanding season and is next up with 447 yards. The Texas A&M offense accumulated 417 yards last week. They have reported an average of 458 yards per game.

The Aggies' defense is also dominant. They have conceded 22 or fewer points in all but two games. They had some trouble with Notre Dame early in the season, and have been among the best in the country since. The unit held Florida to just 319 total yards last week and is keeping opponents to an average of 295 yards. Taurean York is a dangerous linebacker with 39 tackles. The pass defense is ranked 39th, and the rush defense comes in at 22nd.

Texas A&M is scoring an average of 34.7 points on the season, ranking them 39th. The Aggies are keeping opponents to 20.3 points, good for 42nd.

Arkansas Eyes First Conference Win

The Arkansas Razorbacks need a win. Arkansas was 2-0 to begin the season against inferior competition, but has not won a game since and made a coaching change, firing Sam Pittman and going to back to old coach Bobby Petrino on an interim basis.. They dropped a road bout against Mississippi in their conference opener. Arkansas had to play Notre Dame in week five and was dealt an ugly 56-13 loss. They had their bye two weeks ago and were hit with a narrow 34-31 road loss by a good Tennessee squad last week and lost three fumbles in the game, which was the difference.

Taylen Green is an exciting player and is posting huge numbers in most games, but he has tossed three picks in his last two games. The senior QB posted 256 yards last week. He has reached 300 passing yards in three games and has 1654 passing yards and a 14:5 TD to INT ratio on the season. He is very dangerous on the ground, amassing 504 rushing yards. Mike Washington Jr. has been solid. The senior RB has netted 60+ yards in each game and has amassed 524 rushing yards on the season.

The receiving group has plenty of talent. O’Mega Blake brought in five catches for 65 yards last week and has racked up 464 receiving yards. Rohan Jones has reached 100 yards once this season and has 229 receiving yards. The Arkansas offense was outstanding in the defeat last week, amassing 496 yards. They are averaging 511 yards on the year.

The Razorbacks' defense has been exposed and is a massive reason they are below the .500 mark. The group has not been able to contain any of its conference opponents. They gave up 495 yards last week and are squandering an average of 435 yards per game. Xavier Sorey Jr. leads the squad wth 42 tackles.  The pass defense is 116th, and the rush defense is rated 115th.

Arkansas is averaging 36.3 points on the year, ranking them 26th. The Razorbacks are squandering an average of 30.7 points, placing them 119th.

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Prediction

Spread Pick for Texas A&M vs. Arkansas

  • Texas A&M Aggies -7.5 (5 units)

The Texas A&M Aggies have been dominant, netting an undefeated record, including a road win against a ranked Notre Dame squad. The Arkansas Razorbacks were ranked after a few games last month, but have fallen apart. They have yet to win in conference play and have dropped four games in a row. They dropped their previous home game by a 56-13 score.

Furthermore, Arkansas relies on its offense to win games, but won't be able to post its usual numbers. The Aggies have a dominant defense that kept Auburn to 10 points and Mississippi State to just nine points. The Razorbacks' defense is among the worst in the country and won’t hold up against a potent offense. Texas A&M will run more than pass. This is key when considering the Razorbacks have not been able to contain the run this season, ranking 115th in the country in rush defense.

Over/Under Pick for Texas A&M vs. Arkansas

  • Under 61.5 (5 units)

I expect this one to go under. This is a high total when considering the strength of the Aggies' defense. The group is dominant. They have conceded 22 or fewer points in four of their past five games. The Aggies kept Mississippi State to just 10 points and Florida to 17 in the win last week. Arkansas was up against an outstanding defense two weeks ago and only managed 13 points against Notre Dame. The Aggies' defense is even better.

In addition, Arkansas does not have a quick offense, ranking 65th in the country in plays per game, which makes the over an even bigger task. Also, Texas A&M prefers to run. They run in 56% of their plays and have extended drives. The under has cashed in four of the Razorbacks' past five games in October.
