Texas State vs. Arizona State Spread Pick
Spread Pick for Texas State vs. Arizona State
- Texas State +18.5 (4 units)
Arizona State sputtered in crunch time against Mississippi State on the road last week and while they return home here, it’s tough to give three scores based on what we’ve seen from them this season. Leavitt has stepped back a bit in the first two games without Cam Skattebo in the backfield. Texas State has been explosive offensively but their defense needs some work. We’ve seen the Bobcats do damage through the air and on the ground so far this season. Texas State downed UTSA on the road last week, and while the Sun Devils should prevail here, it’s closer than the spread. Take the Bobcats and the points here.
Over/Under Pick for Texas State vs. Arizona State
- Over 60.5 (4 units)
Texas State enters this one having gone over the total in both their games this season. The Bobcats combined with Eastern Michigan for 79 points in their opener, surpassing the total of 56 points set by the books. Texas State followed that up with another 79 combined points in the win over UTSA, surpassing the mark of 64.5 points set by the books. Six of the Bobcats’ last seven games have gone over the mark. Arizona State had gone over the number in five straight games before falling short of the mark in Starkville last week. Look for plenty of points in this one, pushing past the mark.
