Tulane vs. Temple Pick
Spread Pick for Tulane vs. Temple Pick
- Tulane -8.5 (4 units)
Temple had their chances against Army but couldn’t maintain possession of the ball in crunch time. By the same token, their defense couldn’t make a stop as the Black Knights ran 18 plays on the game’s final drive to run out the clock. Tulane has won two straight since their loss to UTSA, and they are in the thick of the race for a spot in the AAC title game. The Green Wave has a game with Charlotte next week so a pair of wins should give them a solid shot. Temple has been soft against the run, giving up 195.4 yards per game, five yards per carry and 20 touchdowns this season. That plays into Retzlaff’s strength,s and he does damage with his arm and legs to carry Tulane to victory.
Over/Under Pick for Tulane vs. Temple Pick
- Under 56.5 (4 units)
This is based on the way that Tulane is a more methodical team offensively and will grind the clock, taking opportunities away from Temple’s offense, similar to what Army did. The Green Wave has stayed under the number in six of their 10 games entering this contest, including five of their last seven. Tulane stayed under the number in games against power conference opponents in Ole Miss and Northwestern. Temple has gone over the number in seven of their last 10 contests. The Owls did fall short of the total in their loss to Army and with Tulane content to bleed clock, this game winds up short of the mark as well.
