Minnesota has No. 1 seed locked up

Minnesota is 33-10 overall this season. They are in first place and they have secured the No. 1 seed for the past few weeks as they dominated the regular season. They are 19-2 when playing at home. Spread Pick for Golden State Valkyries vs Minnesota Lynx

  • Golden State Valkyries +7 (5 units)

There is much to play for in this game for the Lynx. They have the No. 1 seed wrapped up and they may not play some of their best players for an extended period. Even though they are the best team in the league, I would not side with them in the season finale. The Valkyries have a lot to play as they try to move up a seed in the playoffs. With the loss, they are in danger of moving down in the playoff seeding. They need the win and they should be close to getting it as they have been playing well recently, winning five of their last seven games. One team has a lot to play for in this one, the other team is taking it easy as the playoffs loom. The Valkyries are also 19-11 against the spread when they have been an underdog.

Take the Valkyries to cover.

Over/Under Pick for Golden State Valkyries vs Minnesota Lynx

  • Under 153.5 (5 Units)

The Valkyries and the Lynx are two of the slowest teams in the league. Golden State is last in pace stats, while the Lynx rank 10th in the same category. Expect a low-scoring, low-possession based game. The under is 12-9 when Golden State has played on the road this season. The Lynx also own the No. 1 defense in the sport.

Take the under.
