Teoscar Hernandez has been excellent, as he has three home runs and nine RBIs while batting .357 over those three games. He batted third in the lineup on Saturday as their right fielder, and finished the regular season with 25 home runs and 89 RBIs. Shohei Ohtani has not been quiet either; he has two postseason home runs after hitting 55 in the regular season. He pitched in Game 1, and could be available at the end of the series to take the mound if needed.
Blake Snell will start in this game, and it will be his second start of this young playoff run. He started Game 1 against the Reds, pitching seven innings and giving up just two earned runs in the win. The 32-year old right hander had a 5-4 record and a strong 2.35 ERA in the regular season, to go with his 72 strikeouts against 26 walks.

Slow Start for Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies were able to secure a bye in the first round of the playoffs by finishing second in the National League. Securing the bye sounds good, but can often lead to the team losing their rhythm with too many days off, as its opponents come in with momentum after winning their first round series. The Phillies will need to shake that rust off for game 2, as they do not want to head to Los Angeles down 0-2 in the series. In the first game on Saturday, JT Realmuto had a two-run triple in the 2nd inning to get the scoring going, but they were not able to hold on to the lead.
Realmuto batted sixth in the lineup as their catcher. This season, he had 12 home runs and 52 RBIs to go with his .257 batting average. Kyle Schwarber was their top power hitter this season, but went 0-4 in Game 1. The Phillies hope to see his play from the regular season, as he finished the year with 56 home runs and a league-leading 132 RBIs. Schwarber bats second as the DH and bats right in front of the dangerous Bryce Harper. He has several highlights from the playoffs in the past, and went 1-4 on Saturday, but was not able to generate any runs. Harper had 27 home runs and 75 RBIs this year.
Jesus Luzardo will start this game for Philadelphia. The 28-year-old left-hander started 32 games this season, finishing the year with a 15-7 record. He had a 3.92 ERA to go with 216 strikeouts and 57 walks. He finished the season tied for fourth in the league in strikeouts.
