Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Seattle Mariners Picks and Prediction for Saturday, September 27, 2025
Use Code WWWC Los Angeles Dodgers (90-69) vs. Seattle Mariners (90-69)
The ultimate weekend of the 2025 MLB regular season is upon us, and Saturday brings plenty of interesting matchups, including the interleague showdown at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, so we’ve got the Dodgers vs. Mariners prediction.
Los Angeles and Seattle continue their three-game regular-season series, and Friday’s opener has been excluded from the analysis. This preview was published before Friday’s results. Last year, the Dodgers swept a three-game home series against the Mariners, extending their winning streak over Seattle to nine games.
Let’s take a closer look at this Dodgers vs. Mariners prediction, one of our MLB picks for Saturday’s card. The first pitch at T-Mobile Park is set at 9:40 PM ET.
The Dodgers are preparing for the wild-card round
The Los Angeles Dodgers blanked the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-0 this past Thursday to clinch a three-game road series and win their 12th NL West title in 13 years. However, the Dodgers will have to play in the wild-card round. Their record is the worst of all divisional winners in the National League.

The Dodgers have been playing well of late, going 12-5 in their previous 17 games overall. The reigning World Series champions have only dropped two of their last eight games while scoring 38 runs on a .234/.288/.464 triple-slash.
Tyler Glasnow is projected to take the mound at T-Mobile Park on Saturday night. The 32-year-old right-hander carries a 4-3 record with a 3.30 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 17 starts (87.1 innings pitched) in 2025. He’s emerged victorious in three straight outings, allowing six earned runs on nine hits and 10 walks during that stretch (18.2 IP).
Glasnow met the Mariners once in his career. It was two years ago, and he gave up three earned runs on seven hits and a walk across 5.2 innings in a losing effort at T-Mobile Park. The current Mariners are 8-for-32 with a double and a home run against Glasnow.
The Mariners are fighting for the best record in the AL
The Seattle Mariners extended their winning streak to seven games last Thursday, beating the Colorado Rockies 6-2 at T-Mobile Park. The Mariners, who clinched their first AL West title since 2001, were one game behind the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees on Friday morning. Toronto and New York were tied for the best record in the American League.
The Mariners have been unstoppable lately, winning 17 of their previous 18 games overall. During their seven-game win streak, the Mariners have accounted for 38 runs on a .254/.331/.487 slash line while surrendering just 14 runs in return.
At the time of writing, it was unknown who would get the starting call for the Mariners on Saturday night. It is Logan Gilbert’s turn in the rotation, and the 28-year-old right-hander is 6-6 with a 3.43 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 24 starts (126.0 IP) this season. Gilbert has been outstanding over his previous four starts, allowing just five earned runs on 20 hits and four walks across 22.1 innings of work.
Seattle might opt for a bullpen day on Saturday. Over the last 10 days, the Mariners ‘pen has amassed an underwhelming 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and a .261 batting average against.
Dodgers vs. Mariners Pick
Moneyline Pick for Dodgers vs. Mariners
- Seattle Mariners (4 units)
Catching the Blue Jays and Yankees might be a tall task for the Mariners. If they drop the opening game of this series, the Mariners will probably decide to rest Logan Gilbert.
Anyway, I’m not going to stand in front of the red-hot Mariners. Even on a bullpen day, they will stand a chance of beating the Dodgers, whose bullpen has been shaky all season. Over the past 10 days, the Dodgers ‘pen has recorded an ugly 6.68 ERA and 1.52 WHIP.
Seattle could easily get to Tyler Glasnow early. The Mariners’ lineup has done a great job against the righties in the past 10 days, tallying a .892 OPS and 152 wRC+ across 265 plate appearances.
Over/Under Pick for Dodgers vs. Mariners
- Over (4 units)
I can only look at the over in this game, especially if the Mariners opt for a bullpen day. Yet, you should keep tracking the news. Should Logan Gilbert get the nod, the total will be a tricky wager.
As I noted above, the Mariners have been torturing the righties over the last 10 days. During that span, the Dodgers have recorded a decent .761 OPS and 108 wRC+ against the righties and a .778 OPS and 111 wRC+ against the lefties. The Mariners have hit the southpaws well, too, posting a .841 OPS and 135 wRC+ in 75 plate appearances.
