New York Mets vs Philadelphia Phillies
The Mets are well-positioned to avoid the sweep tonight at Citizens Bank Park, with David Peterson (9–5, 3.72 ERA) offering a steady presence on the mound and a lineup capable of capitalizing on Jesús Luzardo’s inconsistency. Luzardo has a 4.01 ERA and has allowed a .248 opponent batting average this season, and in two prior outings vs. New York, he’s posted a 3.37 ERA with a 1.125 WHIP. Juan Soto remains red-hot, batting .375 with a 1.314 OPS over his last 15 games, and the Mets rank top-10 in MLB in slugging (.429) and home runs (198). Despite dropping the first three games of the series, New York has the offensive firepower and a capable starter to flip the script as a live underdog and salvage the finale.

Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners (Total)
Tonight’s Angels-Mariners matchup at T-Mobile Park sets up well for the Under 8, with both starting pitchers showing strong splits against their opponent and offensive inconsistency on both sides. José Soriano (10–10, 4.07 ERA) has been excellent on the road, posting an 8–2 record with a 2.47 ERA across 14 starts, and owns a 2.76 career ERA against Seattle. Bryce Miller counters for the Mariners with a 2.48 ERA in six career starts vs. the Angels, despite a rough overall season line. The Angels rank 29th in MLB in total hits and are batting just .229 as a team, while Seattle—despite its power—has averaged only 4.7 runs per game and ranks 20th in batting average. With both pitchers familiar with the opposing lineup and neither offense showing consistent production, this AL West clash profiles as a low-scoring affair unlikely to reach the posted total.

Washington Nationals vs Miami Marlins
Washington is a sharp underdog play tonight at +107 behind MacKenzie Gore, who returns to the mound with a 4.15 ERA and 151 strikeouts over 134.1 innings this season. Gore has held opponents to three earned runs or fewer in seven of his last nine starts and faces a Miami lineup batting just .240 over its last 10 games while missing key contributors. The Marlins counter with Ryan Weathers (1–1, 3.28 ERA), who’s yet to pitch past the fifth inning and has allowed a .267 opponent batting average at home. Washington has won four straight and is 7–3 over its last 10, averaging 5.1 runs per game during that stretch. With Josh Bell swinging a hot bat and Gore’s strikeout upside intact, the Nationals are well-positioned to avoid the sweep and steal the finale in South Florida.
