Giants Drop Opener, Rays Gets the Nod in Game Two
Robbie Ray is on the mound in game two of the series. Ray enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season, sporting a strong 3.65 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP accompanied by an 11-8 record in 32 innings of action. Ray conceded one run in four innings against New York last year and is 2-3 with a 3.97 ERA in 36.1 career innings against the Yankees. Ray was great in spring, yielding three runs in 19.2 innings in spring training.

Matt Chapman is steady at third base. The veteran knows the Yankees after spending a decent portion of his career in the AL East with the Blue Jays.
