Hawks vs. Cavaliers Pick
Hawks vs. Cavaliers Spread Pick
- Cavaliers (4 units)
Granted, a lot of this hinges on who takes the floor for the Cavaliers after seeing several key contributors miss Friday’s game against Toronto. The Cavaliers hope that some combination of that quartet of missing pieces can take the floor here. Atlanta is without their top floor general in Young as it’s unclear how much time he may miss at this stage. The Hawks have won two straight games but downing the Nets and Pacers doesn’t move the needle all that much. Dealing with a Cleveland squad that is deep and tough is going to be a test for Atlanta. The Hawks aren’t strong enough on either end to come up with a win here. Look for Cleveland to come up with the home victory in this contest.
Hawks vs. Cavaliers Over/Under Pick
- Under (4 units)
Atlanta has split their six games in relation to the total this season and has gone over the number in two of their three on the road. The Hawks are 18th in scoring offense, 21st in offensive efficiency, and 13th in tempo with an average of 101.8 possessions per game. Cleveland stands 23rd in the league in scoring offense, 25th in offensive efficiency and 14th in tempo with an average of 101.2 possessions per game. The Cavaliers have stayed under the number in four of their six games and have stayed under the mark in both home games this season. With both teams struggling a bit offensively, look for a lot of empty possessions, keeping this game under the total.
