Denver won their second straight and their fifth in the last six games as they took down Miami at home in their previous contest on Wednesday night. Against Miami, Denver trailed by seven in the first quarter before closing the stanza on a 16-6 run to take a three-point lead after the opening 12 minutes. The Nuggets led by eight at the half and pushed the margin to 15 after three quarters. Denver didnโ€™t let Miami closer than eight in the final quarter en route to the victory. The Nuggets shot 42.6% from the floor, including 11 of 40 from three-point range, and dominated the boards by a 61-38 margin. Warriors vs. Nuggets Pick

Warriors vs. Nuggets Spread Pick

  • Nuggets -9.5 (4 units)

This marks Golden Stateโ€™s third game in four nights here as they took on Phoenix Tuesday night at home before taking on Sacramento Wednesday night. The Warriors are without Curry here, and itโ€™s unclear as to whether Butler will suit up here either. That puts a lot of pressure on the rest of the Golden State rotation as they have to step up and produce. Denver is always tough at home as the altitude works as a sixth man for them. Jokic has already logged five triple-doubles on the year heading into this contest, and we know that the Nuggets can pile up points. With the Warriors banged up and struggling on the defensive end of the floor, take Denver at home here.

Warriors vs. Nuggets Over/Under Pick

  • Over 227.5 (4 units)

Golden State has gone over the number in six of their nine games this season, entering Thursday night. The Warriors are 14th in scoring offense, 16th in offensive efficiency and 18th in adjusted tempo with 100.6 possessions per contest. Denver enters this game having gone over the total in four of their seven games this season. The Nuggets are 2nd in scoring offense, 2nd in offensive efficiency, and 15th in terms of pace as they average 100.8 possessions a night this season. With Denver racking up a ton of points and the Warriors giving up plenty of them, look for this game to wind up over the number.
