Alongside Doncic, Austin Reaves was solid with 26 points and nine assists, and DeAndre Ayton showed some life with 10 points and six rebounds, but the rest of the supporting cast was quiet, as the Lakers shot just 25 percent from deep.

Minnesota shot the ball much better from three in their opener, and I expect them to control the pace and pull away in the fourth quarter for another solid win and cover.
