Pelicans vs. Warriors, Picks and Prediction for Saturday, November 29, 2025
An eventful sports weekend rolls into Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors host the New Orleans Pelicans. These teams last met on November 16th, when Golden State cruised to a 124–106 road win as a 10.5-point favorite.
The Pelicans are coming off a competitive loss to the Grizzlies, while the Warriors are looking to bounce back from a frustrating NBA Cup loss at home against the Rockets. Check out more Free NBA Picks at Winners and Whiners if you want more winners.

What's the plan?
It’s been a long season already for New Orleans, although the effort has been better in the last two games. After picking up a rare win on Monday over the Bulls, powered by 29 points from Zion Williamson, the Pelicans followed that up with a 133–128 loss to Memphis on Wednesday. Against Western Conference foes, the Pelicans are now just 1–14 straight up,
Offensively, the Pelicans are stagnant, ranking bottom-five in points per game (111.5), field-goal percentage (44.9%), and three-point shooting (34.4%). They’re also inconsistent defensively, giving up 122.5 points per night and allowing opponents to hit over 50% from the field.
Injuries continue to pile up, with Herbert Jones and Dejounte Murray out and Jordan Poole listed day-to-day. Williamson leads the team across key categories when he actually plays, but he's been limited to just nine games this season.
Warriors coming off a tough loss
Golden State comes in off a disappointing 104–100 loss to Houston in a game they controlled early before unraveling. Steph Curry struggled, shooting 4-for-13 with just 14 points, and now he’s sidelined with a quadriceps injury.
On the season, Golden State ranks 21st in scoring at 115.1 points per game, shoots a respectable 36.4% from deep (13th), but no longer the potent offense from the days of the Splash Brothers. Defensively, they hold opponents to 114.5 points per game with top-10 three-point defense.
The team will not be at 100% on Saturday. Along with Curry, who is out, the injury report includes Jonathan Kuminga as day-to-day, and Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton remain out.
New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors Predictions
Pelicans vs Warriors ATS Pick
-
Warriors -8 (4 units)
I’m laying it with Golden State. The Pelicans are young, poorly led, banged up, and struggling mightily against Western Conference teams. Even without Steph, the Warriors’ experience and urgency after a big loss with give them a major advantage. Expect Jimmy Butler and some of the lesser-known Warriors to step up and cover.
Pelicans vs Warriors Total Pick
-
Over 224 (4 units)
The Pelicans have failed to top 108 points in their last five meetings against the Warriors, and I don't expect them to have a strong night offensively here. Coming off the loss to Houston, I expect the Warriors to be locked in defensively, and without Steph Curry, the offense should take a step back as well.
Neither team plays at a fast pace, and with the list of injuries in this game, I expect this to be a spot for some young players to step up and prove what they can do on the defensive end. I'm going with the under.
